Summer Reading Program
"Build a Better World" by the Hemet Public Library
The free summer reading program runs 7 weeks, June 14 - July 29. Children ages 3-10 are asked to read 30 minutes per day; tweens and teens ages 11-18 read 45 minutes per day.For every week of completed reading, participants will earn a reward- collect all 7! Bark for Books : Read 5 books or chapter books to one of the therapy dogs to receive a prize. Bark for books is every Friday at 3 - 4, in the Children's Library area. Ages 3+.
Play and Learn time :Wednesday @ 9:30 - 11 AM in the Library's Mural nook. Toys and activities geared for ages 2 - 6 and parents too!
Biulding Play : Fridays @ 1 - 3 PM in the library's Conference Room. Several different building and creative play activities!
***Summer Family Events***
Thursday Family Events will be held at the Simpson Center located behind the library at 305 E. Devonshire Ave. Hemet, CA.
Online Learning
Please click below and learn how to access multiple websites and information on apps such as Compass learning, jijii, Imagine Learning etc. These are the applications that students use in class and will help your children progress during the summer.
