The lions club offers clinics though out the year for FREE EYE EXAMS and GLASSES. Anyone can participate, there is no maximum or minimum requirement for income. Please spread the word. Click the title above to be redirected to the website.
What services are provided at the vision screening?
Free doctor provided health assessment of the eye
Free recycled eyeglasses for those who need them
Can anyone come to the vision screening? All individuals, especially children, who are unable to afford an eye doctor visit and eyeglasses can come to the vision screening. The screening is designed to assess for eye health concerns and provide a useable pair of recycled eyeglasses until you can obtain the professional services and eyeglasses on your own.
Do I need to make an appointment? No, people are seen on a first come, first serve basis.
Will all people who come be served?Every effort is made to see all people attending. We recommend you come early. On occasion, we end the screening early if too few people are coming. Other times, we are forced to turn people away if there are too many still in line at the end of the day.
