Back to School Night

Please Join us for Back to School Night on Thursday, August 17th. At 5:45 we will have our general session with a Title 1 meeting and teacher introductions. Our first session is from 6:00-6:25 and our second session is from 6:30-7:00. Don't forget to stop by our parent information booth in the library!

Parent Meeting for Band Students

Parents of children in 4th and 5th grade at Cawston Elementary who are interested in joining beginning band are invited to attend Band Night. Band Night is a free informational night for parents and students. Band Night is this Monday, August 14, in the multi-purpose room at Rancho Viejo Middle School from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Friday, August 4th (during our Meet the Teacher event) we will be holding our first annual Welcome Back Faire! Join us from 11:30-1:00 to learn about what Cawston has to offer! Information regarding academics, clubs, parent programs will be available. T-shirts will be available for pre-sale and Kona Ice will be there!

Modified Wednesday Schedules

Research shows that teacher collaboration time is linked to increased student achievement. As such, teachers have been provided weekly collaboration time on Wednesdays to achieve this goal. Please click "Read More" to view the new bell schedule

"Build a Better World" Summer Reading Program

The free summer reading program runs 7 weeks, June 14-July 29. Children ages 3-10 are asked to read 30 mins per day; tweens and teens ages 11-18 read 45 minutes per day. For every week of completed reading, participants will earn a reward - collect all 7!
